Annually, March of Dimes hosts a Signature Chef event in 200 cities across the nation. If you go to the website you can enter your zip code to find an event near you.
Although attendees are treated to amazing culinary delights provided by some of the best talent in each city, the real mission is to fight to end premature birth and to help moms and babies be healthy. Through the event this is accomplished in a few ways – through sponsorship, ticket or table purchase, auction participation, and/or straight up donations to the cause.
In Denver, Moxie CCA has been fortunate over the years to produce a video highlighting the ambassador family and their story featured at the event. Each year, we meet a family whose love, courage and determination can only inspire. In June, we began the process again, and met the Gould family on our location shoot in Colorado Springs. It was a beautiful day.
We’d like to express how special it feels to be trusted with such an important task. What a responsibility – to hear a family’s story and faithfully compress and structure it into a 3-5 minute video in a way that allows the audience to feel included, informed, and inspired.
This year the events in Colorado are on Sept. 12 in Grand Junction, Oct. 1 in Denver, Oct. 15 in Colorado Springs, and Oct. 22 in Boulder. We’ll keep you posted as we progress!
